In interviews with World Archery following the conclusion of the semi-final matches, members of the men’s and women’s teams commented on the contests and how it felt to be one victory away from assisting India win two gold medals.

We were simply shooting, concentrating on the shot while soothing our anxieties because it was a really close contest, Parneet told World Archery.

After defeating Great Britain in the semi-final, Aditi said, “We have shot at the World Championships before, and even though we were losing a few points, we were focusing on pushing each other to do our best.

“It was simple as pie. We’re all in the finals together, so that’s a great experience, Deotale told World Archery.
