Fans have generated a plethora of ideas and speculations on Gojo’s fate, the most concerning of which is that he may be dead. This subject has caused consternation among several fandom groups.
Although there hasn’t been a definite confirmation from Akutami, certain theories may be developed concerning Gojo’s fate and whether or not it is sealed forever.
Is Gojo Satoru Die Or is their presence in Jujutsu Kaisen the last we’ll see of him, or will he return?
Gojo Satoru made his final appearance in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 91 when he was imprisoned in the Prison Realm indefinitely by Kenjaku, or Pseudo-Geto. This has aroused curiosity among fans regarding their preferred sensei. Fans are asking if Gojo will ever be released or if he has reached the end of his career.
From a purely technical standpoint, we can fairly claim that as of the most recent chapter, Gojo Satoru is not dead but has been imprisoned in a cursed device that renders anything trapped in it inescapable.
However, the character’s safety cannot be assured, since the mangaka Gege Akutami has already murdered fan favorites from the series, including Nanami Kento and Junpei Yoshino.
What was the reason behind Gojo Satoru’s being sealed in the Prison Realm?
Jujutsu Kaisen, which began as a playful and entertaining series, has now taken a shocking turn. We knew there was an element of darkness to the fun and games, but the recent manga events that culminated in the famed Shibuya Arc have surely ratcheted up the edginess.
The reason for Gojo’s demise may be traced back to the series’ major adversary, Kenjaku. He has always been suspicious of Six Eyes sorcerers. Kenjaku got past this by sealing off the power rather than killing the owner, preventing it from interfering with his goals. This gives supporters some assurance that Gojo’s death would not act against Kenjaku, which is why having Gojo locked but safe will benefit him.
On top of that, Gojo is now both a prisoner and a fugitive. In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 137, it is revealed that Gojo Satoru is being held as an accomplice in the Shibuya Incident by Jujutsu Headquarters, and he is therefore banished from the Jujutsu world. Any attempt to save him will be considered a criminal act.
Is he ever going to be released?
The question now is if there is indeed a method to get Gojo out. The answer is affirmative, as we may deduce from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. By breaking Gojo out of the rear of the prison world, Master Tengen has provided some insight on how to get him free. It goes without saying, however, that it is easier said than done.
Itadori, Yuta, and Megumi are already working to preserve Gojo, but their chances of success are low. The Black Rope and the Inverted Spear of Heaven are two cursed artefacts required to pry the back open. Ironically, it’s Gojo’s fault that they are so tough to obtain, as he was the one who got rid of them earlier.
Angel may be able to assist as well, although her loyalty is currently in doubt. So, while no specific conjecture concerning Gojo’s escape can be made at this time, be certain that he is not dead.
