BGMI 2.7 Update Brings Dragon Ball Super Characters, Powers, and Zones: Everything You Need To Know

Krafton, the creator of BGMI, will also soon announce his collaboration with Dragon Ball Super

Krafton, the developer of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), has announced a collaboration with Dragon Ball Super. Through the version 2.7 update, which is currently available, this partnership delivers a significant gameplay shift. The first of two Dragon Ball Super modes will be released today and will be open until October 9. This mode combines the best of Dragon Ball with classic BGMI battle royale action. Players may start on a mission to acquire seven Dragon Balls, summon Shenron, and make game-changing wishes at the Shenron Summoning Altar, which will provide them powerful in-game upgrades.

Fans are in for a treat as four new Dragon Ball Super regions appear on the Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok maps. These zones, designed to resemble the series’ landscapes and architecture, including “Dragon Ball Village,” “Tenkaichi Budokai,” “Kame House,” and “Karin Tower,” are all brimming with treasures for players to find. Players can also engage the dynamic “Hoipoi Capsule,” which transforms into the zippy three-seater “Air Car” to explore the battlefield.

What is new in this collaboration between Dragon Ball Super and BGMI?

The Dragon Ball super central theme, “Ki,” takes center stage. Obtaining “Ki” improves mobility, enhances the renowned “Kamehameha” beam for annihilating adversaries, and introduces the “Buku-jutsu (Levitation technique)” that allows for free-spirited aerial navigation at running speeds. When “Ki” runs low, players must ingest dispersed “Senzu Beans,” which replenishes “Ki,” health, and energy.

Hidden Dragon Ball Trial looms are also present. Teams must find seven Dragon Balls Super in areas that are visible to opponents. To triumph, the Dragon Balls must be safeguarded, the Sheron Summoning Altar must be protected, and a desire must be granted.

The ensuing Dragon Ball Super mode features a previously unseen gameplay adjustment in BGMI. This mode, which runs from August 9 to October 9, transforms the battleground into an animated art-style universe. Participants forego traditional armament in order to take on the roles of five Dragon Ball Super characters, including Son Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Piccolo, and Ultimate Gohan. Players compete to be the final survivor, using their unique primary and support skills.

Spirit Crystlets and Spirit Crystals are introduced in this mode to replenish energy and upgrade moves, progressing up to Level 4. Innovative aspects like Teleport Points and Updraft make strategic map movement and manipulation easier.

On August 10, a number of Dragon Ball Super-themed clothes and products will be released, including special outfits featuring Son Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and the companions Pilaf and Karin.

Players may also look forward to an upcoming in-game event that offers special Dragon Ball Super goodies such as the “Kamesennin Style Set,” as revealed on official BGMI social channels.

Aside from the Dragon Ball Super extravaganza, the 2.7 release includes a number of gameplay improvements, including a new World of Wonder creative mode and the customizable Summer Brawl gameplay template. Furthermore, the latest assault weapon ACE32 is available on all maps. Season 13 of Embracing Cycle 5 delivers new content, rewards, and cosmetics for players to earn and enjoy. The most unique Royale Pass Ace introduces additional core prizes and Season Missions, further improving the BGMI experience.

Fans can look forward to additional vehicle-related innovations as BGMI announces a forthcoming cooperation with the prestigious British luxury automobile manufacturer, Aston Martin. There have been no further announcements.
